Horrible place - do NOT rent from here.
Tried renting a car from here 11/28/2016 because my 2013 Subaru Outback (mid-size SUV) was rear ended and in the shop. It was nice they picked me up, but from the second I walked into the Hertz location by my dealership, I knew I was going to have issues. The "manager" here was rude to the person he was speaking to on the phone, and sounded very put-off by them asking him anything. His immediate answer to them seemed to be "no" to basically everything. The young man helping me was very kind, but he had to ask his manager for approval in a lot of things.
They offered me an Hyundai Elentra to replace my Outback - um, really? I asked for an all-wheel-drive vehicle and the "manager" said they were all out. Told me to keep checking. So I kept asking for an all-wheel-drive, twice a day, for 3 days straight, and they never got one. Finally, right before a large snow storm, I told them I'll take my business elsewhere. The "manager" said I'm welcome to do that, and the SUVs on the lot are for the Hertz sales office next door, not his rental stock. Went to Enterprise down the street on 2100 south, and they were phenomenal - got me taken care of immediately and upgraded me since they didn't have a mid-size SUV in stock.
Get real, Hertz. you're awful.
Had a vehicle booked and payed for but was unable to pick it up at the scheduled time because of an emergency, my wife called the pickup location and asked if we could come get the car the next morning instead and was told that would be ok. After arriving at 8am the next morning we met with an individual who acted as if he was not expecting us. My wife could tell by his distinct accent it was the same guy she spoke with on the phone the day before but he said he was there all day and didn't get any calls from us or hear anything about the situation. He then told us are reservation had expired 2 hours after the original scheduled pickup date and that the car was no longer available, he said we could book another car but it would be 3 times the price! He could tell we were upset and started acting noticeably passive aggressive while smiling as if he was happy to ruin are familys thanksgiving vacation and put us in a bind. I asked for his name but he refused and literally told me to Fu** off as I was leaving! We never raised our voices or cussed at him. 20 minutes later I've got a car from enterprise and won't ever go to hertz again PEACE OUT
