BUYER BEWARE! We purchased a car from Mike Refy at Imperial Auto 3 years ago. We specifically asked if the car had been in any accidents and were told no. We went to trade it in on another vehicle and found out that it had been totaled in Colorado, brought here and retitled. Utah is a buyer beware state, which we didn't know either. They told us that even though blue book was $7500, we could only get $1500 because the car had been wrecked and the frame re-straightened. We have done some research and found out that this is why these guys sell cars much cheaper. Make sure you take anything you are looking at to a mechanic and then pay to get the CarFax or AutoCheck reports on these cars. Don't get taken like we did.

I purchased a 2007 Corolla with a rebuilt title in March 2011 from Imperial. I have had it for about 1-2 weeks and have put on close to 500 miles. So far so good. No problems that I can detect. I had my mechanic look at it and he approved. Car is in great shape. I felt that the owners dealt fairly with me and that they were honest. If I have any problems with the vehicle I will post another response. As of right now I would purchase another vehicle with them. America first booked it at $1400 more than what I purchased it for even with the rebuilt title.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! I bought a used (salvaged) 2005 Subaru Legacy GT from them on Wednesday December 28th, 2016. You could tell they had their shop fix up the car, it was hit in the rear. They replaced the back bumper and instead of replacing the rear side panels, they just used bondo and did a subpar paint job. That's not what I'm disappointed about, I bought the car knowing the body had been hit. What I'm disappointed about is the fact that not even 1 week later, under normal driving conditions mind you (I bought this to be my commuter car), the turbo dies out and needs to be replaced. I don't expect them to do anything about it, but have some integrity in your business and stand by your name! I would not recommend ANYONE buy from Imperial Auto!!!

The vehicle is good so far, but the man in charge is blunt and rude. His English is sub-par at best and he is very distrustful. Treats you like you're unintelligent and are wasting his day being there. Wouldn't recommend.
